Lucy is the founder of Dorset Fitness Retreat and ensures the Retreats run like clock work. Meet the wonderful team who will look after you. We are all delighted to be part or your fitness journey. 

Lucy

Boxing Instructor and Retreat Organiser

Lucy is a keen triathlete and having recently qualified for her Age Category for the GB team, she loves supporting individuals on their fitness journey. She is a mental health nurse and combines this expertise into the retreat by embracing mindfulness. Lucy is an exercise class instructor and will run some of the bootcamps on the retreat and is also a Ricky Hatton instructor so will be teaching you to jab and cross. Lucy is also a nutrition coach and provides an insightful presentation on this area during the Fitness Retreat.

Jen

Retreat Host and Boxing Instructor

Jen will ensure your stay goes perfectly and you have everything that you need. Jen is a Ricky Hatton Instructor and is looking forward to turning you into a boxing pro and get you confident in pushing out 3-minute boxing combinations.

Paula

Retreat Chef and Massage Therapist

Paula provides a range of holistic therapies. With over twenty five years of experience in delivering Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Swedish massage and Reiki, she is fully qualified and has memberships with the AoR (Association of Reflexologist), and also the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapies).

Paula is also brings her healing mindset to the kitchen and is our resident chef specialising in vegan and vegetarian dining. Her speciality is the famous Dorset Fitness Retreat chocolate brownie which often makes an appearance after a long coastal hike or sea swim!

Pip

Yoga Teacher

Pip’s dedication to yoga shines through in her signature classes, which inspire and empower her students to move, breathe and connect with their inner self and others.

Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced in yoga, Pip will guide and support you with beautiful flowing sequences to discover variations that will deepen and enhance your practice whatever your level.

Pip has completed her 500 hour yoga alliance accredited teacher training, specialising in vinyasa yoga but also includes hatha, meditation, breath-work, guided relaxation & yoga nidra.

Pip classes are a safe space to have fun, explore and work hard whilst at the same time finding grace and softness within the practice.

Her students are instantaneously transported away from the hustle of daily life allowing them to find an oasis of serenity on their mat. Pip’s compassionate approach leads students to truly nourish their inner self and ultimately those in the world around them.

Andrew

Level 4 Master Personal Trainer

Andrew served 23 years in the Royal Navy as an aircraft engineer, he then embarked on a new career in Fitness. Andrew is a Master Personal Trainer specialising in strength and conditioning and back care. He runs a luxury 1:1 personal training gym and his clients range from professional athletes to busy Mums. He has a fantastic passion for helping people achieve goals and break down physical and mental barriers. Throughout the retreat, Andrew will be available for 1:1 Personal Training sessions.
