Join Dorset Fitness Retreat for a day of fitness in the form of yoga, boxing and ending with a sauna, swim and hot tub.
The day starts at 10:00 with a fitness session with trained boxing instructors where you will be taught the basic boxing moves of jab, cross, hook and upper cuts combined with body-weight exercises such as skipping, lunges, sit-ups, push-ups and squats so the whole body is targeted.
We then move into a dynamic long yoga sequence with our lovely yoga instructor Pip who will expertly guide you through the session and provide any modifications as required, so your body will feel worked but at the same time less tight and more relaxed.
A light vegan lunch is provided which will be a warming soup with a vitamin packed salad served with local sour bread.
The day then continues with our 2nd boxing session of the day where we bring together the boxing skills taught in the first session into combination rounds which focuses the mind and body.
As we come towards the end of the day it is all about relaxation and we go through a progressive muscle relaxation exercise and then head to the spa area to enjoy the heated pool, sauna and hot tub.
There is also the opportunity to book 30-minute massages prior to the start of the retreat day and throughout the retreat.
